I wanted single payer not what they have in the bill.
At some level reform of the insurance market and the malpractice industry are needed. Beyond that, it is hard to see what is going to make the health care system any better. Many of the people who are without health insurance do so because they stand to spend less without the insurance than they would for the insurance. Makes sense to me. The argument that they HAVE to buy insurance for it to be more affordable works but not for them. They will continue to pay more than they would otherwise.
