AGAINST!!! I don’t think religion has anything to do with this issue, except that the Devil is working within Obama…overtime. Health Care is not a right, in the sense that it should be free. Everyone should pay for health care if they want it. I don’t think there should be any more handouts. I am paying for so many darned immigrants and bums, it grosses me out. I don’t want the government laying a hand on me and my health issues. I am a very ill person, with a ton of preexisting conditions that relies on my husband’s insurance thru work. I STILL don’t want the government in my business. The current system in not broken, but I DO think that it needs some tweaking in some areas. Obama is trying to play God, but he is hardly that. He and his cronies need to stay out of people’s business. He shouldn’t try to reinvent the wheel. God doesn’t lie. God listens. God has sense. Obama is none of these, so he needs to get off his high horse and leave us alone. Look how he screwed up the spending bill. Lotta good that did. Look what a joke the clunker plan is. This goes much deeper, but HE HAS LIED TO THE COUNTRY over and over again. I thank God that I wasn’t brainwashed like half of the country. I can sleep at night. God will make sure I die on HIS clock, not Obama’s.

Religion has nothing to do with health care reform. It has to do with whether or not we want the government controlling our health care and treatment. I am completely opposed to this. I want my care to be under a doctor and his judgment, not a bureaucrat in Washington who sees me only as a dollar sign.

for. I want people I know to have health care and health care is too expensive because it is too easy to be abused.
there will still be people that want to ruin their bodies with 30 years of daily cheeseburgers and want all of the stints and bypasses that science can offer their heart.
I would rather everyone be seen by a doctor early and often so they can learn how to take care of their bodies and in the end people will live healthier longer lives and they wont have to pay out the nose for it. There will still be outside companies you can opt for like in england

The health care system is broken as it is now.
Insurance companies are a for-profit company. How can they be concerned with the welfare of their enrollees when they make money by raising premiums and decreasing coverage?
Plus, if you like your insurance company, you can keep them. But by having a government option, it will force the insurance companies to be more competitive. Why else do you think they are fighting so hard against it? They are spending over a million dollars a day to fight this, and that’s only a drop in the bucket when it comes to their profits.
